Today, I want to share with You some informative and useful picture's of technology : 

1. Vehicle Hand Controls and Automotive Adaptive Products for Driving
The introduction of new technology continues to broaden opportunities for people with disabilities to drive vehicles with hand controls and adaptive automotive products and devices. 

These adaptive devices provide the possibility of driving a vehicle for many drivers with disabilities.

Adaptive vehicle control products are commonly prescribed by rehabilitation centers and installed by mobility equipment dealers and installers who specialize in vehicle modifications for persons with disabilities, seniors, and persons who have a need for greater mobility.

Driver rehabilitation specialists perform comprehensive evaluations to identify the adaptive equipment most suited to your needs.

 They assess the type of seating needed and the person’s ability to exit and enter the vehicle. 

They provide advice on the purchase of modified vehicles and recommend appropriate wheelchair lifts or other equipment for a vehicle you own.

 The use of wheelchair car and van hand controls usually requires the driver to take and pass a special training class which educates on the nuances of driving with the controls.

2. Lift Chairs and Seating Products for Seniors and Disabled
A lift chair is a device that gradually lifts the person to a standing position or gradually descends the person into a sitting position without causing any injuries. It has the look and feel of a normal recliner which makes it very comfortable for the individual.

Most lift chairs plug directly into the wall, but feature a backup power supply that is activated when the power goes out. Many people who are mobility challenged depend on their lift chair to stand and could not do so otherwise without assistance.

 The battery backup ensures that they will never be left without this precious resource.

3. WHILL

Small Japanese Startup Company called WHILL, introduced a wheelchair accessory called WHILL. WHILL is a device that turns manual wheelchair into fully electrical wheelchair. The power chair device can be attached to any standard wheelchair, and embraces it.

WHILL works on like Segway device, as its curved control arm that embrace user around his or her waist contain control interface. Invalid controls the device by leaning in either direction, and device follows the direction and steers, much like piloting a sit-down Segway.

4. The Cyborg Exoskeletons Of The Future Take To The Streets
Three employees of Japan's Cyberdyne robotics company recently demonstrated a new "people-assisting" device: an exoskeleton that could help injured or disabled people walk. The system is called "HAL 5," and three prototypes of the technology paraded through Tokyo this week.

We've covered Cyberdyne's HAL suits, and their unfortunate names, a couple times before. But we believe this is the first time they've gone out on the streets.

Cyberdyne employees strapped on the robotic leg braces and took them on a 30 mile journey through Tokyo, via train, taxi, and on foot. The 24 pound suit made the commute easier for the demonstrators, but the technology is aimed at people who have difficulty walking. Cyberdyne is optimistic that more people-assisting technologies are in their future.

6. MOSHI MULTIFUNTIONAL KITCHEN
How does this technology will affect our culture?

1) this technology gives the ability to cook efficiently.

3) people can do 2 things in a time, they can wash dishes and wash and dry clothes at the same time. It can reduce people's time on doing works.

The 10×10 cm pad is the control panel of the whole system, featuring a touch screen interface to follow step by step guidelines through thousands of stored recipes.

The pad features sensor technology will tell you if there are enough ingredients in the fridge to cook a particular dish.

7. Cuman personal tracking devices for persons, pets or products.


The model drawing the most attention from Cuman's small range of personal trackers is the CP-100G.

 Cuman describes the white patch-type tracker as a P2P solution – no, it can’t be used to download pirated movies over Peer to Peer networks.

 In this case, P2P stands for a person-to-person application. This means it does not require an operation center to report the location of whatever it is being tracked to the user. 

Using SMS or TCP-IP, the tracker's location can be reported directly to a PDA, PC or mobile phone. 

Since the software is free and the P2P solution enables the unit to link to a freeware Google map, there is no service charge for using the tracking service.

 Cuman’s range of devices also includes the CW-100G, which manages to cram a tracking device into a wristwatch – just the sneaky thing to keep track of little Jimmy without him knowing.

8. Vena Wireless Inhaler
Cambridge Consultants has launched a wireless asthma inhaler called Vena that lets medical devices deliver readings to a central monitor located at home, or to an online health record such as Google Health or Microsoft Health Vault. 

The idea behind the technology is that patients and their health care support professionals should be connected wirelessly, via the treatment devices.

 It employs two emerging wireless standards, including the Infrared-based IEEE11073 and the Bluetooth Medical Device Profile. 

Vena embeds the two into a single chip as the combination of them ensures compatibility of data exchanged between different types of devices and the security in the transmitting of medical data.

The demo inhalers connect to an online personal health care application via a smartphone or a computer. The inhaler then can both remind patients to take their treatment and send compliance information to the relevant personal health care location online.

9. Braille  Phone
Braille phone is a universal cellular phone concept that is able to produce Braille code in a particular part of it by using Electric Active Plastic to make it usable for visually handicapped people. 

The phone has been designed in a simple and easy to use manner and looks like a television remote control.

The Braille area provides all the information that a traditional screen of a cell phone displays so that visually impaired people can read them by touching it.

 It provides letter blocks in two by three dot matrixes and by using this principle on buttons, visually challenged people can easily create or read text messages. This braille phone just won Red Dot Awards 2009. 

10. Haptic Reader

Haptic Reader is a concept device that features an innovative way of helping blind people on reading non-Braille books. 

This device incorporates a flat glass surface that converts the letters of a page into Braille characters and projects them on the flat surface of this device when the user places it on a book.

Moreover, this device also helps those people who don’t know reading Braille characters through the embedded speaker. 

The device can scan the text and convert it into voice which is played via the speaker. The handy device is designed in a simple way and is very much convenient to use.

Lidah

   Lidah ialah alat artikulasi yang terpenting dan paling aktif dalam pengeluaran bunyi bahasa. Lidah terbahagi kepada  empat bahagian, iaitu hujung lidah, tengah lidah, hadapan lidah, dan  belakang lidah. Pembahagian ini membolehkan lidah membuat deskripsi pelbagai jenis penghasilan bunyi. Bahagian hadapan lidah, tengah lidah dan belakang lidah penting dalam pengeluaran bunyi-bunyi vokal, iaitu bunyi vokal hadapan, tengah dan belakang. Hujung lidah merupakan bahagian paling aktif dan boleh digerakkan ke mana-mana bahagian mulut untuk membuat penyekatan.  

Gigi 

   Gigi juga berperanan dalam penghasilan bunyi bahasa tetapi peranannya tidaklah aktif. Kedudukannya yang statik dan sentiasa digunakan sebagai penampan aliran udara dalam penghasilan bunyi. Penampan aliran udara inilah yang menghasilkan bunyi. 

Bibir 

   Bibir adalah alat artikulasi yang terletak pada bahagian luar rongga mulut. Bibir terdiri daripada otot-otot kenyal yang boleh dihamparkan dan dibundarkan dan berperanan  mengeluarkan bunyi yang berbagai-bagai. Bibir juga menjadi sempadan paling luar daripada rongga mulut. Bibir juga berfungsi membuat sekatan kepada udara yang keluar daripada rongga mulut. 

Gusi

   Gusi merupakan bahagian yang embung dan menurun dari gigi ke bahagian dalam rongga mulut. Organ ini digunakan sebagai daerah sebutan dengan bantuan hujung lidah yang berfungsi membuat penyekatan. 
Lelangit  
   Lelangit dapat dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian, iaitu lelangit keras dan lelangit lembut.  Lelangit lembut menganjur dari sempadan lelangit keras hingga ke akhir rongga mulut. Lelangit keras bermula dari sempadan gusi di bahagian hadapan atas rongga mulut dapat diturunnaikkan untuk menutup atau membuka saluran rongga tekak terus ke rongga hidung. Apabila dinaikkan, rongga mulut akan terbuka dan udara akan keluar melalui rongga mulut dan apabila diturunkkan, rongga mulut akan tertutup dan udara terpaksa keluar melalui rongga hidung.
  
Rongga Hidung 
   Terletak di atas rongga mulut yang dipisahkan oleh lelangit. Rongga hidung boleh dibuka atau ditutup, bergantung kepada keadaan sama ada anak tekak dan lelangit lembut dinaikkan atau tidak.

Pita Suara

   Pita suara terletak dalam ruang tenggorok (halkum) dan amat penting dalam penghasilan bunyi. Proses pengeluaran suara berlaku dengan cara memperluas dan mempersempit lubang yang terdapat di antara dua keping selaput nipis berkenaan.

 
JENIS-JENIS BUNYI

Bunyi Vokal 

   Bunyi vokal terhasil apabila udara keluar daripada rongga mulut tidak mengalami sekatan atau himpitan.  Bunyi vokal juga dipengaruhi oleh  pengaruh lidah, keadaan rongga mulut dan bentuk bibir.   
Kedudukan vokal-vokal dapat dilihat seperti berikut:

PENGHASILAN BUNYI VOKAL 

Vokal Depan Sempit   (i) 
    Untuk mengeluarkan bunyi vokal ini, depan lidah dinaikkan hingga hampir menyentuh lelangit keras, sementara hujung lidah didekatkan pada gusi.
Lelangit lembut diangkat untuk menutup rongga hidung. Udara dari paru-paru melalui rongga mulut sambil menggetarkan pita suara tanpa sekatan, halangan atau himpitan yang boleh menyebabkan geseran kedengaran. Bibir berada dalam keadaan terhampat. 
Contoh: bilik, itik, titik, tilik, inggeris 
 
Vokal Depan Separuh Sempit  (e) 
    Untuk menghasilkan bunyi ini depan lidah dinaikkan, tetapi tidaklah setinggi membunyikan vokal (i). 
Contoh: kole, tauge, bendi, elok

Vokal Depan Separuh Luas 

   Untuk mengeluarkan  vokal ini depan lidah diturunkan sepertiga dari kedudukan untuk mengeluarkan vokal ( e ). Kedudukan alat pertuturan adalah sama  seperti semasa mengeluarkan bunyi  vokal (i) dan (e). 
Contoh: elak,ekor, lenyek
 
Vokal Depan Luas ( a)  
   Untuk mengeluarkan bunyi vokal ini,  depan lidah diturunkan serendah-rendahnya. Lelangit lembut berkeadaan terangkat rapat ke belakang tekak dan menutup rongga hidung.  Kedudukan alat pertuturan lain adalah sama seperti menghasilkan vokal (i), dan (e). 
Contoh:  anak,  pandai, landai, anting, siapa, takat 
Vokal Belakang Sempit (u)  
    Dihasilkan dengan mengangkat belakang lidah setinggi mungkin ke atas, tetapi tidak menutup ruang aliran udara. Bentuk bibir dibundarkan. 
Contoh: usang, udang, unggas, ular 
Vokal Separuh Sempit ( o )  
    Dihasilkan dengan menurunkan belakang lidah 1/3 di antara tempat yang paling tinggi dan tempat yang paling rendah. Keadaan bibir pula dibundarkan. 
Contoh: borang, orang, obor, sotong 

Vokal Belakang Separuh Luas  

   Dihasilkan apabila belakang lidah diturunkan 1/3 daripada kedudukan separuh sempit dan bentuk bibir turut dibundarkan. Vokal ini tidak terdapat dalam bahasa Melayu.

Vokal Tengah   

   Dihasilkan dengan meletakkan lidah seperti biasa di lantai rongga mulut. Bahagian tepi lidah dilengkungkan sedikit, manakala rongga mulut berkeadaan sederhana luasnya. 
Contoh: enam, empat, kenduri, gerai.
